Purpose

This document outlines how to manually fulfill the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable prerequisite for Ivanti Patch for Windows Servers 9.3

Symptoms

You manually downloaded and installed the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable on an offline console to fulfill the prerequisites for installing Patch for Windows Servers 9.3, but the installer still shows that the setup failed due to that

Cause

The version of the package downloadable straight from Microsoft's public page is a slightly older version than the version required

Resolution

Download and install the version linked here

This is the version required by (and downloaded by) the installer, and will meet the prerequisite
