| Symptoms |

- When upgrading Protect, you experience a database upgrade failure.
- In the ST.databaseconfigurationlog file, you see an error similar to:
Cannot create a new Service Broker in a mirrored database "Protect".
ALTER DATABASE statement failed.

This issue occurs because database mirroring is enabled for the Protect database.
| Resolution |

To resolve this issue, turn off the mirroring on the database.
