An error occurs performing certain actions in Protect:
- Editing a Template
- Clicking Help > Refresh Files
- Clicking Tools > Custom Patch Editor

Cause |

This is caused by the "C:\ProgramData\LANDesk\Shavlik Protect\Console\DataFiles\ST.CustomPatch.config" file listing a custom patch file that is no longer available.
Solution |

If a custom patch .xml file was moved or renamed prior to this error occuring, move the file back/change the name to the original name.
Once the ST.CustomPatch.config file is able to locate the custom patch .xml correctly, you can choose to exclude it from Protect by going to Manage > Custom Patches.
Alternatively, find and delete: "C:\ProgramData\LANDesk\Shavlik Protect\Console\DataFiles\ST.CustomPatch.config".
