Purpose
The purpose of this document is to show how to fix a console self-scan that fails with error code 201 after upgrading the console machine to Windows 10 1803.
Cause
- IPv6 is disabled on the console workstation.
Symptoms
- Operations Monitor will show error 201, 'Network connection error. Verify that you can remotely log on to the specified machine'.
- The ST.EngineHost.Managed log will show something similar to below:

Resolution
1. Open the start menu and search for Network and Sharing Center.
2. Click on Change adapter settings.
3. Right-click on primary NIC, go to Properties.
4. In Properties menu, check box for Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6). Click OK to save.
5. Rescan the console machine to confirm the scan completes successfully.
