Problem
A patch was previously attempted to be deployed and the status is reflecting an invalid state such as scheduled and never changes to allow you to try and publish again.
Cause
If there is a status in the Status column of the patch information you will not be able to publish a patch. This is usually caused by a previous attempt to publish that has failed.
Resolution
Right click on the patch and choose clear status.
